Shipping policy

Here at Literary Lovelies UK, we strive to ensure that your shopping experience is seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. Here’s all the information you need to know about our shipping procedures.

All parcels are sent via Royal Mail.

You can select either Standard or Express service before completing your order. Shipping prices are dependent on total order weight and shipping location. Each order is packaged with care using eco friendly materials, some can be reused or composted. Please note Standard shipping is NOT TRACKED! If you wish to receive your order quicker and with tracking please choose Express shipping! 

Processing Time (Mon - Fri)

Our current processing times depend on the type of product you ordered, excluding weekends and bank holidays.

  • Bookmarks, Stickers 1-3 days
  • Candles, Mugs/Cups, Totes 3-5 days
  • Apparel (t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats) 5-7 days

Please allow slightly longer for dispatch during the busier times of the year (Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter)!

Shipping Options and Costs

We currently ship to the UK (excluding Northern Ireland because of the new GPSR regulations), US, Canada, Australia and Europe (only to non-EU countries).

  • Domestic Shipping (UK):
    • Standard Shipping: 2-4 business days
    • Express Shipping: 1-2 business days
  • International Shipping (US and Worldwide):
    • Standard International Shipping: 10-20 business days
    • Express International Shipping: 5-10 business days
  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the shipping method selected. 

 

Tracking Your Order

Not all orders will have tracking information to keep costs low for you the customer but higher value items will include tracking:

  • Order Confirmation: After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email with your order details.
  • Shipping Notification: Once your order is shipped, you will receive another email with tracking information if available, so you can follow your package’s journey to your doorstep.

Customs and Import Duties

For international orders, please be aware that customs and import duties may apply depending on your country’s regulations. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the shipping costs. We recommend checking with your local customs office for more information.

Returns and Exchanges

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return the items within 14 days of receipt. For more details, please refer to our Returns Policy page.

Other Notes

  • How do I cancel or amend my order (for example you've input the wrong address)? If you wish to cancel or amend your order, you must do so immediately after placing the order. Please send an email at literaryloveliesuk@gmail.com, stating your order number, your name and any instructions.
  • Lost or Delayed Packages: If your tracked package is lost or significantly delayed, please contact us via email. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and ensure you receive your order as soon as possible. However if you selected standard delivery, I cannot find out where it is. Some international deliveries are still taking longer than estimated so if you are at all worried I would recommend selecting tracked delivery at check out.
  • Damaged Items: If your items arrive damaged, please take photos of the packaging and the damaged products and contact us via email within 7 days of receipt. We will arrange for a replacement or a refund as necessary.
